Al NIEHAUS - PHOTO I.D. HELP PLEASE
This is a photo of former big leaguer Al Niehaus. He played for both Chattanooga and Columbia in the minor leagues. Can anyone tell me if he's in a Chattanooga or Columbia uni in this pic?

Without an example of what the Columbia Comers jerseys looked like, I have seen photos of the Chattanooga team from 1931 with the same "C" on them. Not conclusive, but maybe gets you a little closer.

Just found a picture of Al Niehaus on another website in the same uniform and it's attributes to the circa 1924-27 Lookouts. Here is a link, its about 3/4 of the way down.

Another shot of Niehaus wearing the same uni also attributed to the 1924-27 Lookouts (though not from anything written on the photo, so not sure what process Mears used for the attribution)
