Got a contact on VCP and it said that he has an old card of Tommy John passed down to him by his grandfather. The guy did retire in 1989 and never realized it before but he did finish off with 288 wins.

Especially when I consider that I remember his dad's rookie year.

I know I am getting old when
1. I scratch an itch and get a cramp. 2. I can't see what I am trying to read until I re-adjust the range at which I am viewing. 3. Kids in their 20s keep looking younger and younger. These things happen frequently.

I am working with my son and a friend on his Eagle Scout project. It's hard labor, lots of augering holes and shoveling gravel. That has made me feel old to a degree, but even my 17 year old is sore after a hard day at it. The other day, I was talking to his friend who was lamenting how old his grandfather was...which is 8 years older than I am.
