World Series trivia......
Should the Rangers win tonite (or perhaps tomorrow), they will be the 10th different team to win the World Series in the past 11 years (2001 - 2011).
This variety of World Championship teams over such a long span hasn't occurred that often. In fact, the 10-year span from 1978 - 1987 produced 10 different World Championship teams......I think it's the longest consecutive period in which there was no repeat Championship teams. T-Rex TED
