Default A little photo help x 2

So I am asking th group for a little assistance identifying players in these two pictures.

First is likely Spring Training as it's dated 3/7/1937 on back.
No one looks particularly familiar to me initially.

In the backgrond it looks like a player is signing an autograph. Cool!

Second is this 1930 pic of Herb Pennock. I am interested in the players on the left of the photo. They are likely other pitchers. I think Ruth is the guy in the white shirt in the back ground.

Thanks in advance for your help.
Best,
Mark

Awesome photos, Mark!!

In the '37 pic, it seems like the guy directly behind the player warming up with the two bats is Red Rolfe. I'm not 100% sure of course, but it looks like his profile to me.

The other guys look like they might be hard to peg, but I'll see if I can dig up some info.

In the 1937 photo there are two.player numbers I can make out. 33 & 36. Oddly the yankees roster shows no players with those two numbers so they might be coachs. In the 1930 pic that batter in the back has the exact frame as gehrig only he's batting the wrong way. Maybe lou was doing some fungos?

The pitcher on the bottom.left is.most likely george pipgras based on facial features and being a righty.

Love the old shots of Crescent Lake Pk. Put a side trip there on your bucket list. You'll be glad you did.

Is it possible the 37 photo could be some kind of old.timers game based on the amount of overweight players I see.

Mark,

The batter in the 1937 photo could be coach Art Fletcher.

Thanks to all who commented.
I'll have to see if I can get a pic of Pipgras' ear to see if they match.
