Help finding an old thread

I remember, and this is how I stumbled on this site, searching for boxes for graded cards. I remember reading a thread about how a board members grandfather was making custom boxes for cards. Nice ones made of wood with custom cut dividers and such.
Can anyone point me to that thread?
Did anyone get one of these boxes? If so, was it nice?
