Default T210 Catchers

I'm looking to add some more T210s of catchers with chest protectors.

I have Laughlin and Lucia so far.

I will pay well for nice examples, and have items for trade as well.

Thanks,

Patrick

I love catcher cards! I donned the "tools of ignorance" for three years in high school and loved every minute of it. Good luck in your hunt!

Default No doubt

Gotta love the memories of catching both ends of a double header in 90+ degree heat. Ah... The glory days!

Yessir. I remember ringing out the liner of my skullcap on those days. I also still find more joy throwing out a baserunner than getting a big hit. I'm assuming most of you feel the same way. :0)

Default How About "Show Your 210 Catchers"

Even if they're not for sale at the moment?

It looks like this is turning into a cather's tale!
Back in the day, I pissed off my centerfielder, who was money on the throws to the plate. He a big arm and knew were to put them. We played a team the was very good at the old hit and run and hard nosed as hell (Van, WV), which means you are going to see some action with a contact pitcher on the mound.
In the second inning my guy in center put in three throws high right and had his release pretty much measured up to insure that I was gonna get killed. Sure enough, I took 5 direct hits from the runners in that game. Mr. Center and I also went a round in the dugout during the game after I accused him of getting me killed.
As with all catchers, the bigger the beating and the hotter the weather, the better I hit. That game was the shining point of my days behind the plate (I played second regular, but our catcher had bad wheels and a scholarship, so I ended up getting a lot of work behind the plate to keep him alive)! If only the box score could show the beating I took.
Good luck in the search for T210 mitmen!

Default How Many Are There?

Well, I asked for permission and wasn't denied, so I'm taking the liberty and hope that I'm not stepping on someone else's thread. Besides, I like to show cards and I will want to sell this someday.

Also, I'm curious as to how many 210's depict a catcher with their equipment on.

Default T210 Catcher with chest protectors

Thanks for the response.

Here are my only 2 T210s:

Laughlin, Danville and Lucia, Lynchburg

I have seen 4 catchers wearing their chest protectors so far in the T210 set. As far as I know, Lucia is the only one wearing a catcher's mask.
