If anyone can shed some light on this I'd appreciate it. I've been wondering the following:
What are some ways to tell if a Bowman (most of mine are 1950 and 1955 with a smattering of 48's and 49's) is AUTHENTIC? How can you tell if it's been trimmed? It seems to me as though these cards are old enough that I might worry about there being fakes out there but not old or valuable enough for anyone to publish anything regarding authenticity. Which I see as a shame, because they're some of the most beautiful cards in my collection, especially the 1950s. Thanks AR |
