Outside of Exhibits, other issues designated with a W in the ACC often bear the erroneous label of being hand cut strip cards and are therefore less desirable. What W issues were not issued as strip cards, but rather manufacturer cut?

I think the W554 were never hand cut. Very large size pieces that have the same consistent dimensions. SGC will numerically grade these. A big indication that they were factory cut.

As a point of information, SGC assigns numerical grades to hand-cut strip cards as well, so long as enough border is there on all 4 sides.

Some other non-hand cut 'W' sets:
W503 Have seen some W573 heavier stock (cardboard instead of paper) that might be machine cut W575-2 (Autograph on Shoulder series)- some people think these are not hand-cut...unfortunately I have too many that were then possibly trimmed to be a good judge Brian |

Here are a bunch...
W502 --both 1928 and 1931 varieties W503 W530 Pinkerton Scorecards/Portcards/etc. W554 W571 Bond Bread W574 W575-1 (many are NOT hand cut-but I have discussed this many times in the past) W575-2 -while I have seen some that appear to be, nearly all W575-2's were machine cut W576 Callahan W600 W601 W603 Sports Exchange (large) all those W7XX eam Issues like Harry Hartman, St. Louis Browns/Cardinals, etc.
