Default Who're the 11 Butterfinger ad cards?

I noted in Lew Lipset's last auctin that he mentioned there were 11 players in the 1934 Butterfingers set that were issued as cardboard point-of-purchase ad signs, with the basic card design overprinted with a red ad message.

He specified: Bartell, Boyle, Carleton, Frey, O'Farrell and Swetonic.

I'd like to give these a seperate listing in the Standard Catalog. Can you provide the other five players' names?

Thanks!

I believe there are 14. For a long time 13 was the number and then a Gehrig was found. I do not have the list.

Default here you go Bob

Lew sold these 11: Richard Bartell, Walter Berger, Ralph Boyle, James Collins, Paul Derringer, Benny Frey, Johnny Moore, Bob O'Farrrell, Mel Ott, Steve Sewtonic and Lou Gehrig.

Add to that list Carleton and Frisch, which I own, and there are at least 13.

Default Butterfinger Display Ad Checklist

Bob, fourteen known Butterfinger ad-type panels are noted in the R310 checklist on the Old Cardboard website at http://www.oldcardboard.com/r/r310/r310list.asp. The only player not mentioned above is that of George Earnshaw.

Hope this helps, Lyman

Default Butterfinger ad cards

I really like the Butterfinger ad cards. I have nine which are all listed above. I can add two more to the list: Chapman and Grabowski. I have copies of both.
