One just popped up out of an estate-Seems like it may be authenic, but what should I be looking for?? Will try an post.

Estate sales are red flags and Mantles' are heavily counterfeited. You really need a scan or a decent picture of this card... In the meantime, study a few dozen graded examples online. (Sorry my '51 isn't larger.) You'll soon be able to sense if your prospect is a scam or not.

Note the solid black text box and border line on the graded ones. It should not be composed of print dots. Also, these were sold one card per pack, so card back will show wax stains from wrapper sealing. Good luck Kyle
