Default 1888 Scrapps Robert Caruthers SGC 40

Posted By: jay wolt

For Sale:
1888 Scrapps tobacco in nice SGC die-cut gasket of
St. Louis Browns Champion "Parisian Bob" Caruthers
Was a star in his day, won 40 games twice (in '85 & '89)
Career mark of 218-99 in 9 years and was a prolific hitter when
not pitching. Played the outfield and hit .357 (in 364 AB's) in 1887.

This piece presents better then the grade. It was downgraded
due to glue remnants on the reverse. There are no creases
just the natural indentation of the cap line that you can see
on the reverse. According to VCP the last "40" sold over a year and a half
ago and no 20, 30, 50 or higher has been listed

SOLD!!!! dlvd Paypal, check or money order
