Default National Promo verse Black Swamp debacle

"NSCC Promo Babe Ruth card at the national: The card that never was"

Looks/feels/smells like the 'great black swamp find' cards. Is that promo simply mocking the people who were suckered in to thinking the black swamp find cards weren't printed 2 years ago ?

Understood on the concerns and I mean nothing here personally to anyone. (legal requirement) But being an investigator on this hobby for the past 2 years, the opinion is you guys are being fooled more than often, yet still enjoy it.

All packs can be resealed. All boxes can be rebuilt. And the kicker is, there are NO cards that can not be reprinted using the same cardboard and ink the originals came from. All it takes is the right equipment.

Autograph's ...don't even get me started. 5 out of 5 auto;s not gotten in person ar fake.

Hard to take, and probably not human enough to acceot the facts correct ?

And under magnification, any collector that knows what they are doing can spot a T206 that was printed two months ago.

Hey Kevin. Tell us more about your investigations the last few years. If you think it is possible to reprint cards, such as the BSF, tell us facts that show why you think these cards are 'probably' reprints. Give us examples of reprints found to be counterfeit that were graded by a grading company that were subsequently found to be phonies, and I am not talking about Jeter rookies, but prewar cards.

Tell us why you examined your suspicion and how you investigated to find a probability of fraud. This ain't the place for supposition and sneering at 'suckers'. Back your words up. Oh yeah, post your name, Kevin.

Wow, 5 out of 5, what happens when someone sells a real autograph? Spontaneous combustion?

Or maybe your opinions are as accurate as your typing?

He's wrong about this, and other things, too, I'd wager.

Every single autograph I've purchased in the last two years have all been certified by Topps. The Bowman Chrome prospect autos I buy are all stamped certified, and they have pictures of the athletes signing the cards.

I read that the guy found the cards in a box under a dollhouse in his grandpa's attic. The borders are very bright white looking. I've only seen the scans and don't really have an opinion either way. It's sort of how I felt when they told me that Pluto is just an asteroid.

Yes, I think you jumped the gun, Leon. I was looking forward to learning all about the hobby from that razor sharp investigator. I believe he actually crawled out of the Black Swamp.
