Default T205 Drum backs

I recently uncovered a small stash of T205 Drum backs, and the players include: Evans, Bridwell, Downey, Bell, Bergen, Richie and Latham. Are any of these players previously unknown with a Drum back?

Thanks,
Bryan Dec

The Evans isn't yet confirmed on T205Resource master checklist, it does meet Ted's A-B-C-D criteria...

Bryan,
I have to ask the question;
What are you planning to do with these cards? Grade them and keep them?
Grade them and sell them?
Keep them RAW?

Default T205 Drum backs

The plan was to get them graded in Boston this weekend by SGC, then to sell them off in the near future. Unfortunately, there were no T206 Drum backs found with this group.

Thanks,
Bryan

Brian,

When you sell them, will you be selling on your e-bay site, an auction house, or just privately to people you know? I am sure these will do well, and I would love to watch the action if they are auctioned off. I am certain they are out of my purchasing power, but it is always fun to watch.

Default The T205 A-B-C-D connection

Hi Bryan......nice find.

American Litho printed exactly 32 - T205 subjects with DRUM backs. We know this based on a T-brand pattern presented a year ago on this forum.

A - B - C - D connection

The key factor in this A = B = C = D equation is the Black American Beauty back. Note that a T205 subject with a Green American Beauty back
will NOT be found with a DRUM back.

T205 DRUM checklist......32 subjects

James Austin
John Bates
Beals Becker
George Bell
William Bergen
Russell Blackburne
Albert Bridwell
Mordecai Brown
Harold Chase (border on shirt)
Frank Corridon
Thomas Downey
Louis Evans
George Graham (blue signature)
Buck Herzog
Richard Hoblitzell
Miller Huggins
Jack Knight
A. Latham
Thomas Leach
John Lobert

Briscoe Lord
Patrick Moran
Frederick Olmstead
George Paskert
Fred Payne
Edward Phelps
John Quinn
Lewis Richie
David Shean
George Stone
Zach Wheat
Harry Wolter

The following 5 guys have yet to be confirmed with a DRUM back. But, they already have been confirmed with the A - B - C pattern.
Therefore, I expect these 5 subjects will eventually will be discovered with the DRUM back.

1......Becker
2......Herzog
3......Huggins
4......Lobert
5......Wheat

Further info regarding my AB - BL - CY - DR theory is found in this thread......

Default T205 Drum backs

Thanks James for updating the Evans on the checklist, and thanks Ted for the great info.

Ed, I haven't decided which format that they will be sold, but will give you a heads up once I do.

Steve, the cards turned up in Missouri, which is interesting, since that's where the T205 & T206 Drum backs that Legendary sold off in the past turned up.

Al, here's an image of the fronts, they will all get numerical grades, and I will have them in Boston so you can look at them in person - see you there.

Regards,
Bryan

Default Drum Update

Here's an update on the Drum backs, after getting them graded by SGC this past weekend at the Boston show. Any members interested in individual pricing before they get offered on the open market, let me know.

Thanks,
Bryan Dec

I was able to view them over the weekend at the Shriners Show. They all present very well for the assigned grades. It was great talking with you again Bryan...
