Default Japanese translation help please

If there is someone here capable of translating Japanese, I would appreciate some help translating the back of this postcard. Rotated each way, as I am not sure which is correct.

That’s not Japanese! It’s early american Doctor handwritings, learned to write like that in Veterinary School

The second photo is correct (vertical). The person's handwriting is atrocious and my Japanese reading isn't great. It is to a Mr./Ms. Kobayashi (can't make out the given name). What's the front of?
