A saying comes to mind:
"You can catch more flies with honey than with vinegar" |

I really like Ken and his company. I'm glad he quickly responded and helped rectify this matter. |

I read it differently and thought they were throwing shade at Marty & company.

They were throwing shade at Marty and Co., not Ken. Classless either way.

It took a full three weeks for resolution. Ken asked my son to contact CS for a return shipping label, which he did. After 3 days he asked Ken if he was to do something else. My son was then contacted and told that they were working on getting a label and the package arrived at Goldin’s 2 days later. After 10 more days, Ryan sent an email to CS to verify the package was received, no reply. The next evening, Ken was again contacted and updated. The issue was then quickly resolved. Ken personally was accessible and easy to deal with now that his email is available, but IMO should not have had to be that involved. Thank you Ken.

This thing would not happen again since they will all be PSA10s and no more raw lots in Goldin auctions

The room changes perspective based on the parties involved. If you replace Goldin with PWCC, the responses would have been much different.
Edited to add: But Net54 has always been like that. You can have 2 identical scenarios and the responses to each will be much different based on the parties involved. Last edited by vintagetoppsguy; 07-21-2021 at 06:32 PM. |

If a genuinely reputable party makes the same mistake as a less reputable party, and they both handle it in the same fashion, it still feels like the less reputable party might have been trying to get away with something and the more reputable party just made a mistake. Reputations are earned for a reason, and good ones confer the benefit of the doubt.

I’m surprised no one has mentioned Blue Bell yet.

Ive been waiting for Ben and Jerry's. I'm currently eating Cherry Garcia, and Strawberry Cheesecake, but I was on a Half Baked / Tonight Dough kick for two months.

I'm partial to AmeriCone Dream myself. I can't stand Stephen Colbert, but he does have some good ice cream.
