With 9% of the set completed my MN is 47. Finished my Baltimore subset at the Philly show this weekend with a Doc Atkins pickup. Reaching small goals within the monster, keeps the fire burning. I'm on a 10 year plan, very similar to my undergraduate college days and just as enjoyable!

It has been a while since I updated my checklist, but I am off work following my appendix removal, so what better thing to do than figure out just what cards I have? My Monster number is now 182, but the cool thing I found out is that these are the only backs I am missing: Old Mill brown, Lenox brown, Broad Leaf 460, Drum, Blank, Sovereign 460, Sweet Caporal 150 factory 649 overprint, and the debated Ty Cobb. Not too shabby!


My goal has always been all the backs other than the Ty Cobb, Old Mill brown, Lenox brown, and BL460, so I am almost there! (only ruling those out as out of my league/price range, so if you want to sell me one out of pity, I would be happy to oblige).

I slowed down quite a bit trying to figure out how I want to collect the monster. Still trying to figure that out I'm sure I have close to 50 doubles. I find it hard not to make a purchase of some of my favorites with a more scarce back. Also can't figure out if I want PSA graded or raw. I will figure it out along the way. Just want to keep a good steady pace. For me it's not a race,want to enjoy the hunt!
