Highest Graded - Ty Cobb
At PSA 8, this 1907 H.M. Taylor team card is actually the highest graded of any "1907" Ty Cobb rookie card - single or team. The last I looked, his highest "single" graded card from 1907 is a seven (7). Note that the postcard does have an undivided back, indicating it was produced in early 1907 (I also have a "divided back" version of this card that is postmarked later in the year - 8 Oct 1907)

Here is my 1914 T330 Piedmont Art Stamp...I don't think any Cobb has been graded higher...it has a Factory 42 back...it was already graded by SGC when I bought this in 2005 in a catalog auction...since I had not seen another in such high grade I was curious to see what a PSA 5 Cobb stamp would bring 15 years later in a 2020 catalog auction... I think it had a Factory 25 back...so I followed the auction and was pleasantly shocked to learn that the high bid was $21,000 but was $25,200 including the 20% buyers premium...but even that price was before sales tax (which is 3-7% except for a few states that have no sales tax), or shipping, handling and insurance...so the total paid was very likely $26,000-27,000!!...and I felt I may have paid too much for mine when I wrote a check on my home equity line of credit for it...it was a major purchase for me at that time as I could certainly count on both hands the hobby items I had ever bought in excess of $1,000...times sure have changed.

Fun thread. I've owned (and sold/traded) a bunch of Cobbs over the years...Here's my current example, which I plan to hold for a long time now...

The Bat Off is an SGC 10 and the Green is an SGC 20. Buy the Cobb not the holder:

My highest graded is the Old Mill, though a few yet ungraded ones could compete. (The bat off is a Polar Bear.) the T3 i bought directly from Dan McKee (Sr.) about 25 years ago. The M113 would need an awfully big slab, but it’s in unusually good condition for that issue!

There are so many great cards in this thread. I've just tried to find the best looking card in a grade I can afford.

We’re not all high rollers. That green Cobb would be the best card in my collection. Nice one.
