I have known Danny for about 15 yrs. I have spent countless hours with him and we have had lots of dinners etc...together...I know Danny well and consider him a good hobby friend. I guess that is what a lot of folks, especially newer ones, don't know. There are about a hundred, or more, of us that go pretty far back. There are tons of members that go way further back than myself but regardless, a lot of us have deeper hobby ties than just the board. And as for Andrew (Aclinton1107), he just got the boot. There were reasons he wasn't booted earlier. That being said the "Andrew" threads need to either go away on their own or they will be locked. It's not fair for someone to get banned and then not be able to defend themselves while being talked about.

I just bought another Southern Leaguer, SGC 84 Jack Bastian for $690 at a major auction house. My experience is that regardless of how adamant someone might be that their internet persona and 'real life' persona are exactly the same, it's impossible to know; however, relationships generally start from scratch the day the two people actually meet, or at least the threats of violence are forgotten.

While I know of a few times when people finally met and still hated each other, I've run into far more examples where an internet asshole ended up being my friend when we finally met.

So, basically I'm saying that Dan's 'internet balls' are irrelevant (sorry, Dan).
