Probably the 52T considering it had only one prior owner, who pulled it from a pack in Morisson, Illinois in 1952. Having a recorded interview with the pack puller and being able to trace its provenance to the pack in this era probably would translate into a few more bids were it on the auction block. Moot though, as my son is getting it and has sworn never to sell it, either. If he breaks his promise after I'm gone, I will haunt him and make Poltergeist and The Conjuring look like Teletubbies.

Lol make them look like Teletubbies.

Thanks! The registration is indeed super nice on my Cobb 4.

Your 52 mantle is amazzzzing.

This card isn't worth the most to the market, but it's worth the most to me.

...Disregard. It looks like my account is restricted from uploading photos larger than a thumbnail. I was going to post a photo of my 52 Topps Jackie Robinson, but I'm sure everyone here knows what that looks like already. So just picture a big red card with white borders.

The three cards in my collection that probably mean the most to me...

-52 Topps Mantle is the most "valuable"...the card I always wanted but could never afford when I first started collecting.
-T207 Weaver is my current favorite (I love collecting Black Sox cards)
-84 FleerU Puckett...I was a huge Puckett/Twins fan when I was younger and first got into baseball and card collecting.

cards

I’ve been lucky enough to add some sweet, valuable cards over the last 2-3 years, but forced to pick only 1, I’d have to say this Ted has the most “value” for me

I *think* this is my most valuable card. It would be worth five times as much in a PSA holder!

This is a fun thread. I find it noteworthy that the overwhelming majority of posts are either of Cobb (mostly T206) or Mantle (mostly 1952 Topps), with Ruth (almost exclusively 1933 Godey) in third. I think there are more Cobbs, alone, or Mantles, alone, than all other players combined minus Cobb, Ruth, and Mantle.

My personal, absolute favorite on the thread so far is the Voskamp's Wagner - great card! So, in an effort to give Wagner a little love, here are his two rookies (although not his most valuable card). BTW - I always thought he looked a little like Fred Flintsone in this pose

Change of pace here....even though I'm a baseball guy at heart, I still have a ton of nostalgia for the NBA growing up in the '80s. Was a huge Lakers fan back then, and watching their playoff battles with the Celtics were some of my most fond memories of growing up. Hearing Dick Stockton's voice still takes me back.

So this card may be even more valuable to me than anything in my baseball card collection. The fact that it's an amazing 7 without much of the typical factory print for it doesn't hurt!

This is a great thread and I love all the different cards.

Not surprising that Mantle and Cobb are leading the pack not to far behind by Ruth.

Like Ryan, I would like to inject a little love to the Wagner's

Not fortunate enough to get any Rookie Cards but here is my contribution

Ted— that trio is insane. Phenomenal feat. Something you do not see every day.

Signed Wilt— wow. And the focus and sharpness of that Paige is wild.

Ya, this forum could benefit greatly from some updated software and ImageMagick. I would switch everything over to Xenforo if I were the admin. They have some great forum software that could completely transform the user experience here. Especially with respect to the B/S/T threads, easily uploading pics of all sizes that get converted to ideal sizes that fit within the thread (so no more massive photos that blow up a page, and no more thumbnail sized pics). Also helps tremendously with organizing the sub forums and makes content easier to find. Also much better search functionality and capability. Also can search PMs efficiently. Can set up private group threads and implement all sorts of controls. Can "like" posts. Can maintain a user feedback rating for the B/S/T threads where buyers and sellers leave feedback just like you would on ebay. It also can be used via iPhone or Android app. Just click on the Net54 app on your phone and everything is perfectly formatted.

I know people will start accusing me of being a Xenforo shill now, but it really is great forum software. And it wouldn't be too difficult or costly to convert.

My card was a 52 Topps Jackie Robinson for most valuable to me, and a basketball card (lebron james RC with Michael jordan dual auto) for most valuable to the market.

Love that card. I think it's Ted's best looking one. Been looking to pick one up, but the prices have been going bonkers recently.

Ted,

I can appreciate the other 2 monsters but that Mays signed '52 is simply amazing! Wow! Thanks for sharing. I don't think I've ever seen one before!

Peace, Mike

Some incredible cards, all around. The Cobbs, The Ruths, the Signed Mantles and, Pete! Dear Lord with that Ruth!

I've posted this a few times at this point, Chuck sold me a Berk Ross Mantle a while back that's probably the "Most Valuable" part of my collection, especially with how the Berk's have taken off.

Also my 1952 Bowman, which I won in an Heritage auction a few months back would probably contend for a close second. In light of Mantle's cards climbing higher and higher every passing month I think I might need to focus on a new player

I'd guess one of these two are mine.

This is my most valuable card to me in my collection. I'm not sure if it's the most valuable dollar-wise though.

I bought this card right here off our own BST with a WTB post when a collector I never met contacted me and said he had a dupe he was willing to part with to help me out. I jumped on it and love it immensely.
