Once again, the world's most impressive baseball memorabilia auction was a gathering ground for the hobby's premiere collectors. REA brings out the
competitive fire inside all of us. It was truly a fun event. Unfortunately, we were not not very lucky last evening. We only won one lot, despite aggressively bidding on 16 lots. We were surprised that the Tattoo Orbit advertising piece doubled an guesstimate that Rob shared with us, and truly stunned by the $18,000 price tag for the Buffalo Fed League pennant. To the best of our knowledge that is 6x more than a Fed League pennant had ever sold for. Looking forward to hearing who won what. Our single win was the Landis-Cobb photo. http://bid.robertedwardauctions.com/...x?itemid=14536 Best, Bruce Dorskind America's Toughest Want List Last edited by Yankeefan51; 05-02-2010 at 05:13 AM. |
