I've been to many nationals as a tableholder and buyer - especially the early ones in the 1980s and 1990s - and they are a great way to network. Those contacts I made later helped me fill in sets with cards they came across they knew I needed. So the national is much more than a show, it's a way to make contacts that help you for years. Well worth the price... and lots of fun.
