I grew up in Oakland during the A's heyday. With the likelihood the city is going to lose ALL of it's professional sports teams within the next 10 years I'm narrowing my focus to autographs of Oakland A's and the Oakland/California Seals former NHL team.
For fun I collect signed cards and photos of players with Big Hair (think Oscar Gamble, Artis Gilmore, Ross Grimsley). I have an extensive collection of baseball HOFers and non-HOFers from the 1900s-1960s but I simply can't afford to play in that arena any more.
