Yes, people in the olden days sometimes liked to color their Harper's Woodcuts, though these colors were likely added years after the print was made.
If it's well done, it adds a little value to it. It's in the eyes of the buyer. I'm sure some buyer will pay more just due to the eye appeal. Last edited by drc; 05-24-2012 at 12:56 PM. |
