I'd leave it as-is, Carlton...
The Spalding Sign was in far worse condition, and desperately needed the work done. Yours remains quite nice, and is far better in terms of condition. The wear and tear is part of its charm and its heritage. Leave it alone, and put the unspent "restoration money" towards a new and exciting piece for your collection. |
