It is my opinion, that consignment stores are responsible for the content they sell. In this case it is Pioneer Auction and those two Babe Ruth forgeries. If they (Pioneer Auction) are getting a slice of the pie from the final bid amount, then they are responsible for the content they are listing.
Crap like those two Babe Ruth forgeries are finding their way to these other online auction platforms like Proxibid.com, LiveAuctionners, etc., because they are the new dumping ground for forgeries.
