Here's a tough 1955 Brooklyn Dodger to get an autographed Topps card of
Mr. Frank Kellert...

Does anyone else here feel sorry for Ralph Branca? I mean, he plays several years on some really good Dodger teams but never wins the series. He's stuck with the goat label for giving up the "shot heard round the world", he's traded to a bad Detroit team for half of 53 and 54 but then makes his way to the Yankees for the end of 54 only to have the Yankees not make the series, and then comes back to Brooklyn in 56 when the Yankees win again (he didn't play much in 56 but at least he was on the roster). I'd say he had some real hard luck.

Mike,

It's truly heartbreaking that his career went the way it did.
The worst part about the entire story is that he is now known primarily for the "Shot Heard Round the World"

Always on the lookout for both Yankees and Brooklyn Dodger signed magazines. Just picked up this Dell mag from 1953. Would have liked it better if not personalized, but It will still fit nicely in to my collection.

Just got a nice signed Walt Moryn 8x10 in the mail yesterday. Not a hard autograph to find, but I was having trouble finding his sig on an item I liked...and there's quite a bit of stuff out there with him in a Cubs uniform. Anyone else get any 1955 Brooklyn stuff lately?
