Nice double-entendre
![]() I always find it interesting to hear how a collector has gone about building his T206 set. The T206 nay-sayers have valid points, but there are so many interesting ways to go about building this set, and other than those who are building 'by flip number', I haven't seen two people yet who have gone about it the same way. And once you have attained your magic number, you can then replace cards to add additional nuances (upgrade, tough backs, etc.)

For this year, my magic number is 25%. I would like to have 25% (131 cards) of the 522 cards set by the end of 2012.

I've been more of a hodge Podge kind of collector. Some autos, some rookies, some HOF, football and baseball vintage and modern. Really never tied myself down to a "type" but since joining the board, I see how many people have really enjoyed the monster, so why not go for it. I can't imagine ever buying a Wagner, and probably not a Plank, but everything else is attainable I figure, if I give it a decade or two. |

Some card is harder than other , like the wagner, but if we keep fixed on a goal, everything can be happen anyway a nice decision you took to build a T206 set with all his way to collect. |

Add my daughter melody woodfin to the list at 148. She just turned 7 in march
. She can get her own Wagner but I might help with the rest in low grade condition. She is always excited to add to the set.
