When did I say that?
I like informative threads with good discussion that I can learn from. I don't care for the bickering and rude personality clashes that they sometimes (lately, often) devolve to, but I'm not opposed to autograph threads per se. I agree with Jeff's comment above, that Jake isn't wrong in saying that the only way to be 100% certain an autograph is real is to have witnessed it being signed yourself, but that isn't what Dan was asking. He asked about checks as the "safest" autographs, and specifics about Williams' signing habits on checks, not how to have a 100% certainty lock on a Williams auto. Subsequent posters addressed Dan's questions in a professional, courteous manner, something which cannot be said of Jake's post, even if Jake's was a correct statement.
