Actually, I don't think that is true. I think there were two. Now there is one. Maybe the bat collectors know more about this. There was the black betsy and one other that sold a couple of years ago (this one?).

There is a video on youtube somewhere of the "room" where all this cut up stuff is kept. They have the raw items to be cut waiting their doom. they show some jerseys and bats and stuff. (big names like Babe Ruth, etc.) It's like death row only for sports memorabilia. But the guy who worked there and ran the "room" was excited as heck that they were making these 'collectibles' available to the hobby.

If it makes you guys feel any better at least with all the mistakes third party authenticators make I'm sure a huge portion of this memorabilia came from a store model or a souvenir.
