My favorite autographed item - shared before but a good time to post scans again...

This ball was signed at the 1955 HOF induction - I got it from the Red Sox scout who had it signed in person. He had three of these, nearly identical - wish I got all three at the time! (Also signed on another panel are Ted Lyons and Lefty Grove.)

Most probably haven't heard of Ernest Quigley but, since he spent a majority of his life in Kansas I knew of him. I got lucky and snagged this a few years back. Quigley umpired basketball as well as baseball games. He's enshrined in the Basketball Hall of Fame and umpired in the 1919 World Series.
