At the risk of high jacking the thread, I was in Nashville a couple of weeks ago with my daughter. We dropped by Antique Arch since we are fans of the show.
Got there a few minutes before it opened and waited outside. When they unlocked the doors to let everyone in, we were surprised that Mike was actually the guy who unlocked the door, said "ya'll come on in" , stood there holding the door open while everyone filed in, then drug some antique out onto the sidewalk just as if he were opening up the woolworth in the old days. Although I wasn't expecting him , I'm not surprised he was actually there, just surprised he opened the door and all! We didn't stay long....not very big, fairly crowded, and not much small (read: affordable) stuff. I'm pretty sure we'll go back next time in Nashville though just to see how they evolve. |
