Default Captured Cracker Jacks

This was my first bidding experience with B & L, but I'll definitely be back. I friggen love their definitive end time. Why the heck hasn't it caught on elsewhere?!

I'm now the proud owner of these two beauties:

Johnny - nice pick-up on the yellow/brown Sweeny! I thought I had the Elberfeld, but it got kind of crazy yesterday.

Still, picked up an RPPC with Kid Nichols that will be a nice addition to the postcard page on my website.

For some odd reason, I liked it because it was made from a cracked glass negative. Kind of cool:

The giant scrapbook full of them.

It seems they hit ebay and a relative pulled them

Glad they showed up here so I could have a fair shot

I found a thread on them when they hit ebay, here on NET54

If it is the same find

dan

Me too. I really like RPPC's of teams from the turn of the century. A snapshot in history. Plus this Minor League PC had 17 players make the show. Hard to find that many on one card. Leon, Another well run auction. I just wish you lived farther away. Texas state tax.

The interesting thing about the yellow brown scraps is they don't come with 350/460 factory 30. These cards never got their final colors added and they never got the scroll and factory 42 printed on them.

Sweet Caporal has 4 different backs in the last series. If you put together a back run of Elberfeld Washington you will be able to find 3 of the 4 SC backs in the last series. The only way you can get a factory 30 is with the printers scrap.
