the two Teddies you have are pretty different, so at least one is fake. I am not an expert on his signature, but he hof'er one looks closer then the blue sharpie one. I have seen too many fakes signed in blue sharpie, so i don't like that one.

Joe, i have no opinion on, i can't find my sample page i have.

I agree with Joey and Jim. The top one signed in blue sharpie does not look real.

Be careful about that--it's not always true.
Here are five Gehrig signatures. They are all genuine.

While I understand the underlying sentiment, it seems to me that dismissing an autograph simply because of the ink color, is a bit harsh.

Granted that a Joe Jackson (as an example) in blue sharpie is impossible, but a Ted Williams is not.

Cobb was notorious for signing in green, but I'm sure that he signed some in other colors.

Glad that I don't collect autographs,
