Congrats Mike, that's very cool, seven years worth...I'd frame it or encapsulate it or something...that newspaper stock is especially subject to deterioration...but what ever you do enjoy it..and in my opinion display it for everyone to appreciate....What's Catfish Hunter doing these days?

That is AWESOME that you are getting that photo made into a painting. I am excited to see the finished product, it is a great image that really seems to capture Depression era baseball in all aspects!

Yes indeed Catfish passed on in 1999 from a fall brought on from complications from Lou Gehrig's disease. Catfish was one of my all time favorite players.

Absolutely, Rhys! I had been looking for the perfect image of 1938 Vandy for Graig to paint for me. This one ended up being the Lotto winner!
