I did 20 years in the Air Force, 1991-2011. I flew C-9s, C-5s, and about every C-130 there is! I even got to do a stint in the Royal Air Force as an exchange pilot. Finished up on AC-130 Gunships last year...fun ride for 20 years!

I was a Radar Specialist and Electronics instructor from 1960 - 1964. I was on a Strategic Air Command (SAC) base in northern Maine when
the Cuban Missle crises occurred. All our B-52 bombers flew down to Florida in preparation to engage the "Rushkies"....in the event we were
going to war. This was one of Pres. John Kennedy's finest moments.

This is me in Basic training in Texas in Aug. 1960

2000-2004. Single sandbox tour 3-17-2003 till 7-13-2003 due to broken ankle Grandpa was ret. AF pilot, and then flew for TWA, and dad is a W3 still active and plays with blackhawks for a career.
