Anyone know what ever happened to this 27 foot long bat? It would be hard to misplace something that large. I wonder if it still exists or if it became firewood.

- Ted - According to the Times Picayune June 15th, 1869 - before The Red Stocking Team returned from their tour on July 24th, they beat the New Orleans Southern BBC at Louisana Baseball park featuring these 2 players (Posed July 5th, 1870) : Charley Brandenburg & Tom Sims (1B & Pitcher for the Southerns) This was the Champion BBC in Lousiana at the time.
