I use Goo Gone. The stuff is citrus based, and works like a charm.

A little smear of peanut butter — smooth, not crunchy — works great. Dab it right on the tape residue, wait about 10 minutes, then just wipe it off with a slightly damp cloth. The peanut oil does the trick. I've been using this method for years.

I use a cleaner wax that is for cars. It not only gets rid of the glue, it will fill in light scratches. The whole slab looks better. SGC uses a softer plastic. The lighter fluid will work with PSA and Beckett slabs.
