I am just continuing my never ending quest for the earliest image of every BB HOF'er.

Finally filled a notebook full of pre-war baseball RPPC's, and made some headway into reacquiring my favorite HOF-er cards, mostly in low-grade.

For 2012, looking for: '33 yellow portrait Ruth, E95 Cobb and Plank, E90-1 pink Keeler and Lajoie, E106 (or similar) Wagner

Did finish my Topps Cubs set. Have all of the topps and updates /errors/variations from 1951 to current. It encompasses 3 large binders in sleeves. Banks rookie and 1957 baker error cards are in this group.

Continuing the e121-80 giants/ Yankees quest.

In this previous thread on what would make your 2011 year (Link), I said I was hoping to pick up an e103 Wagner or T206 Magie. I got neither of them. However, I did pick up a lot of nice cards especially for my Ruth and Gehrig collections. I also continued to upgrade my 33 Goudey set. I think for 2012, I'll continue to work on these sets, likely at a much slower pace. I'm still trying for a Big Head Ruth card, but I missed 3 this past year, so can't really be sure how many will surface for sale again in 2012.

Didn't finish anything.

Don't know that I ever will.

Not even sure how I would know I was finished if I did finish.

That's part of the fun.

+1, except I set a "modest" goal of 50 individually signed T206 cards and am now 11 away. If I could find 11 more signed T206s cards that I don't already own, I think I might be able to call it a day on that front.

+1 - - ditto, but I think my goal will simply be to pick up every card that Phil posts on the B/S/T so that I end up with all of his "sloppy seconds".

The close of 2011 has been extremely busy as my wife and I welcome our daughter (Brielle) into the world on December 5th and we closed on our house on December 14th. I would not advise anyone to do all that in the same month!!

In 2012, I plan on finishing my T201 set (10 away) and starting on the T200 Fatima set.

I also am slowly working on aquiring all the "HOF" or "star" Topps cards from 1952 to present to put into binders based upon the decade.
