Hey guy....I think you want me to stir up some controversy....don't you

Really, I'm one on this forum who is completely convinced that these 1910 COUPON cards should be included in the T206 "family".

But, I try not to push it....why stir up a "hornets nest"....I will leave well enough alone (at least for now)

Default Perhaps I can help...

"Aloha! I have collectd t206's for many decades.....never much payed much attention to the backs, other than avoiding cards with back damage. While flipping through my 206s I see I have a T206 Al Burch in fielding position with a brown lenox back "factory 30 2nd dist NY. It is a beater with multiple creases but all the print and pic are clear. For a long time I heard that the brown ones were just washed out black ones. The back is dingy and looks a little faded, but I have had it for 30+ yrs so I don't think it was ever deliberately doctored. Would fading do this? Will try to post a pic but I am a computer idiot. dave"

Dave happy to help perhaps you can sell me your newly found "Brown Lenox" Burch I can make sure to give you some cards and plenty of scratch towards your new super set project! BTW love to see the card (Burch) even if he's not for sale don't see to many "Brown Lenox" cards besides need to know if we need to update the list...the list guys like Tim get crazy when there's cards missing that need to be counted.

Cheers,

John

Not shy...just secretive...besides I have't got a clue as to scanning and can barely use a computer. In fact FKW had to stop by last year to photograph and post a previously unidentified issue. I will share the results of my efforts if it sheds any new light on the subject. Sincerely, Dave.

David computers are no fun agreed but snap a pic on the phone or something and email one of us I'm sure we can post it. Email has to be in your skill set I mean you figured this place out and net54 is a mess.

I mean you cant be to private you announced you own the card in the last thread in Sept to the entire forum, and now you're talking super set smash down.

I'm a secrecy kind of guy myself but my brown Lenox cards I posted for you guys heck I even posted my Burch...tag you're it.

Burch me baby!

Cheers,

John

Hi David-

Good luck on your quest, that's awesome that you already have 518 !!! I'd also love to see the Brown Lenox Burch. I myself am a computer novice, so I understand the feeling of not knowing how to scan. But don't get discouraged, it's no harder than what you did to put your avatar up.

Please keep us posted, and good luck hunting !!!

Sincerely, Clayton
