One of these was featured on the show "Auction Kings." I believe it sold for under $5,000, but it was in pretty poor condition. A neat item, I had never seen one before.

I was scanning the channels and I saw that program "Auction Kings" and the only reason I watched it was because I just happened to see that Ty Cobb tin. It sold for $4300 but it was pretty trashed. If it was a card and in a graded holder it would be a "1".

Chris, don't know if they were stingy, they probably put a reserve of $50K after being told thait its "worth" that. Its not like they turned down the $49,500., it didn't meet the reserve. And there were 5 bid retractions, so probably the $49,500 amount was driven up w/ no intent to reach the reserve.
