I was lucky to get the total package: Glove with original tag and string attached, copy of magazine ad and the plastic packaging.

And what a package it is - just beautiful!!! Congratulation on a terrific acquisition. I've always loved that ad. I wonder if there is a cardboard version of the ad?

Thanks. I thought you would enjoy seeing the total package.
As far as a cardboard version of the ad - I have never seen one.
Since it is for Armour Franks, I would think a grocery store / super market would have been the place that a cardboard advertising sign would have been used. Probably would have been a difficult placement in the deli section.
But then again - items do show.
Your Mantle photo is outstanding - how did you get that one?

Thanks Jerry- I've never seen one either. Would be a great find!!!! I got the Gallo photo several years ago but at the moment can't remember if it was from an auction or private sale - I do remember I jumped at the chance to purchase it when I saw the original stamping.
