Honestly wait 2 more months for Europe to totally collapse and you'll be buying worthless pieces of cardboard for food. Personally though it would be difficult for me to pay that much for less than mainstream vintage cards, I'd rather have the t206's.

?

I'd say $22,500 is fair. $20,000 is fair and generous but it doesn't seem like the seller is in a hurry to sell the cards..

actually if you were going by number of examples in exiustance the Mino Wagners are single digets known. With the number of t206 Wagners in existance-36k is a steal.

The seller is a member on here. I don't know about these cards but the card I bought from him was a fair deal

IMO their true value is about 1/2 that asking price.... T216-2 Minos are nowhere near as rare as the T216-3 Virginia Extra backed cards. If they were VEs then Id have no prob with the asking price.

Mino cards (as singles) can be had and every type card collector should be able to find one easily, its not the same story with VE cards. Id think there are less examples of VE cards known, than serous type card collectors looking for them...

a high % of VE cards are beat to heck too (edges rotting away from water/age damage), all coming for the same source.

if someone said "show your Virginia Extra back cards", you wont see too many, and youd see a lot of beaters.

Please dont compare these cards with T206, the T206 Wagner (with its est 55-65 known) is really one of the more common Wagner card from his playing days. There are dozens of Wagner cards far scarcer than his T206.

Yeah no question the VE's are the rarest. The vintagecardprices registry doesn't show ANY record of a listing or sale of a VE Wagner in either batting or throwing pose. Makes you wonder how many could be out there at all.

Thx everyone for the feedback - I agree, 20-23K is probably the best estimate of market value for them right now. I will probably end up offering something like that, and if it works for the seller then great, if not I will probably let them go. I have a couple Kotton Wagner's so I can live without picking these up.

Default Wagners

Seller is a good guy and was more than fair with me on a card not that long ago. Maybe the price is marginally above their true value(15-20%), but probably to cover selling fees. Still, I'd say they're priced in the neighborhood of what they're worth given how rare they are and their condition.
