Just a little bump to show what I picked up 6 days after I picked up this ball (1931 Senators et al), also at an estate sale, for $22.50!
And, YES, that is a King of Pop signature as a bonus! ![]() ![]() ![]() 1966 Pirates The best two sports items I've ever found at estate sales came within a week of each other. I'm sure it will be 6 more years before I find something else good. |

Multi year ball using what appears to be the same pen seems a bit suspicous. Large auction house not knowing what they had also a bit strange.

If you say so. The JSA guy liked it when he authenticated it. It's from the multi-year 1931. I never said "large" auction house. I said "upscale." In other words, they don't sell boxes of Avon and old bald tires. That said, they don't sell a lot of 1930's signed baseballs either. However, please carry on with your conspiracy theory.

I know nothing about autographs but in "iwantitiwinit"'s defense, you did say the following in an earlier post -
"After some research it seems to be mostly a multi-year Senators ball with some extras. Johnson stopped playing in 1927 and Joe Cronin started with Washington in 1928, yet they're both present. And, of course, Jimmie Foxx never played for the Senators." So you yourself referred to the first ball as a multi-year ball. Not sure why you are upset that he referred to it as such. |

I was kidding about the "Michael Jackson signature." I'm sure it was written by some kid at a much later date. Perhaps a kid with the same name or perhaps a kid who loved Thriller. Who knows?
