I just engraved this piece of aluminum on my machine in about 3 minutes just now.
The mirror would have been hand engraved from that period. This piece was definitely engraved with a computerized engraving machine (much like mine). Notice how I happened to use the same exact style (font) as this engraver from 90 years ago? Especially look at the spacing between the "H" and the "e" in Helen. Definitely machine engraved. Phil
