If the negative is left before the unpaid item case the negative will be removed. And reinstated if it's paid.

Been through it as a buyer of an item the seller refused to sell. They even removed it while I had a nonperforming seller complaint open against the seller. I had to pay then file as not recieved and wait something like 45 days even with Email backup through Ebays system stating they'd sold it off ebay and never removed the auction.
