I have a regular customer who is a private bidder.
He's a holdover from the old Ebay days and I don't think he's embraced sniping programs, no matter how many times I've told him about them. His reasoning to me for being a Private Bidder, is he's paranoid of other bidding competitors tracking his bids and bidding against him. He's got 100% perfect feedback and he always pays within hours of winning auctions. He's just a bit particular about certain things I guess. Also, you can check bid percentages on private bidders just as you can on any other bidders. At least I was able to when I tried it.
