There are only eight left in existence and a few years ago, Kendrick paid a private collector $2.7 million to procure it. The card is so rare because the Hall of Fame Pirates shortstop demanded it be pulled from circulation shortly after it was released.

Despite how bad the economic world is out there, I agree the card should be worth subastantially more. Suspect alot of money out there waiting to buy prized items, especially one such as this.

You wish they would have a collector proofread these articles before publishing them. There are numerous mistakes in both of them.

Hardly...card should be worth much less...the history of this card is fairly well known and it is absolutely trimmed...the only thing that makes this card valuable is the original PSA hype and Gretzky.
