To answer Bill's qusetion, the movie was a tv movie from the early '80's "Don't look back"
Lou Gosset playing Satchel Paige.
Saw it a few months ago and a few times before that

Jay, thanks for the info on th movie! I've had that still since the 80's as part of a large deal with a TV publicist that traded me thousands of publicity stills for cards.
As for us meeting here in the Boston suburbs, it will be an honor to attend. I can't wait to see both Scotts and the rest of the local 54 crew!
I recently saw that Scott 9ghost0 did a deal with my pal Greg Nazareth from Florida. Here's 2 great guys that i am honored to call friends and of course the rest of the 54 community is #1!

Its awesome to see you guys pulled this off and are doing it again! How many were there last year? Lunch sounds like it worker better than dinner? Sounds like it was very social? Was there a lot of trading, buying, selling? What worked vs didnt work for you guys? We are trying to start the same type pf thing in Ann Arbor MI so any help is very much appreciated.
