Thanks for the memories and shaping and molding that 67 team. That team made this 7 year old at the time, a fan for life.

Dick Williams was at the Toronto Expo just a couple of months ago.
He seemed to be a man at peace with himself, after a somewhat turbulent career. His book "No More Mr. Nice Guy" details the ups and downs of his career, and is one of the more open and honest autobiographies in baseball. In Toronto, I mentioned to him that his Hall of Fame ring looked good. He said "Feel's good, too". He gave the distinct impression that to be a Hall of Fame member was a real honour for him, which of course it is.
