Its funny how i never thought of checking that out before.June 22nd came up with a few cool hits,Carl Hubbell & Ian Kinsler being the only well known ballplayers.In the search i saw who i believed to be the most interesting person born on that day the Infamous John Dillinger.Pretty cool info Thanks for the thought to check it out.Jason

Barry, Thank you so much for the kind words. I honestly believe I made it to 50 because of such wonderful friends as you and our gang here on net54!
As for 8/4, you have a great Birthday, too. I must say that on your list, William James Surhoff is truly a great guy! I spent some time with him at a show in the 80's out in Chicago. he was the best! Quote:

For me, just missing April Fool's Day means I share a birthday with HOFers Hugh Jennings, Luke Appling and Don Sutton. Also, Reggie Smith and Billy Pierce. Sutton & Smith were born the same year. Doug
